Sales/Account Representative - Full
or Part Time
2005 was a breakout year for AMS, with revenue up nearly 80%
over our previous best year. We are currently seeking experienced
sales reps to help us keep up with our ever growing list of
clients and potential new business from client referrals.
This position will initially be a commission-based position
with no ceiling on what you can potentially earn. Sales will
include both advertising sales on The Lake St. Clair Network
as well as web and graphic design services and IT support
services. After a proven track record is established, we will
be able to offer a salary in addition to commission.
The ideal candidate will have a background and previous experience
in sales. CRM experience is a huge benefit, as we are looking
for someone to establish new accounts and manage these accounts
with professionalism and integrity.
Flash Designer - Contract Basis
We are in need of a Flash ROCKSTAR! If you have what it takes
to absolutely blow people away with your Flash portfolio,
we need to talk to you ASAP.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the
following:
- 2-5 years developing projects in an interactive agency
environment
- Skilled using Macromedia Flash MX and 8 Pro - both animation
and advanced ActionScripting
- Experienced writing/parsing XML and working with Flash
components
- The ability to write HTML/XHTML+CSS by hand (no WYSIWYGs)
- Strong Photoshop skills are a must
- Experienced in designing for Web Standards
- Portfolio should reflect extensive experience with Flash
and motion graphics
Web Designer/Developer
We are looking for web designers/developers who have the ability
to design beautiful websites in Photoshop and then build in
HTML using Dreamweaver or standard HTML. We have plenty of
work to go around and each job would be negotiated on a contract
basis. Being a Flash ROCKSTAR would be a HUGE plus! You would
receive creative direction from us, then be turned loose to
stretch your creative wings. The ideal candidate will have
the following skills:
- Proficient knowledge of Photoshop, ImageReady and Illustrator
are required
- Excellent working knowledge of HTML, CSS layout and design,
cross-platform browser support
- Ability to take creative direction and then work independently
while adhering to a specified timeline
- Knowledge of graphic compression and optimization to
meet Production and Delivery requirements and specifications
- Ability to take art direction and constructive criticism
- Ability to meet deadlines and quality expectations amid
the demands of a fast-paced work environment
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of branding, usability and information
architecture
- Understanding of online/Internet communities and Web technology
practices
- Strong initiative and follow through
